About Our Sister’s Keeper

Our Sister’s Keeper is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded in November of 2021. We work to provide confidential support to people impacted by domestic violence as well as work to support New Jersey shelters. We provide support by fundraising through events and collecting donations. So far we have worked with and supported 5 domestic violence shelters, and hope in the future to expand and work with more shelters as well as add a physical location.

Meet our Founder!

I am a proud native of Elizabeth, NJ, a graduate of Elizabeth High School (go Minutemen) and I attended Union County College. I became a mother, adult, and static all at the tender age of 16. After the birth of my first son, I decided to ensure that I would give my son the best start in life that I could by overcoming the odds. My journey to the other side of hardship came with promiscuity, alcohol abuse, domestic violence, and lack of self-worth.   But thank God for placing people (angels) in my life that I did not realize at the time were a part of my life's plan to help me overcome.

I founded Our Sister’s Keeper to stand in the gap for the women & girls of all ages that have been impacted by any facet of domestic violence, and who are not as fortunate as I was to have people to support them through their journey of overcoming.
